Dad wants to know how to add games to his cellphone.

It's a Motorola Razr 2, apparently.

Unfortunately, it's hard to get details other than that from him.

Usually you buy them on the cell phone itself, then it gets downloaded through your normal service provider onto the phone.

See, he doesn't want to do that.

He wants to put the games on his cellphone after downloading them from the Internet, i.e. pirated.

Go ask the people he got it from, this isn't a piracy help desk.

Fine, once again I'm provided with a lack of details.

Dad just now said that he wants FREEWARE games put on his cellphone.

Don't go yelling at me because my dad refuses to give every last detail you want.

Then read the instructions that came with it. You don't really want me to believe that said "freeware" games didn't come with installation instructions, do you?

If the phone has Bluetooth, you could pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled laptop, download the games from the internet, and transfer them from the laptop to the phone.

That's what I do, anyway.

The problem with that is he refuses to figure out how to do things himself and instead he yells at ME until I find out how to do it.

Yeah, they'd better be Java.

If it supports Java games, all you need to do is use the cable that came with the phone, or bluetooth with a bluetooth-enabled PC, and copy the game to any accessible folder on the phone. Then, you go to that folder through the phone, and start it =P

BTW, Bluetooth USB dongles cost like $1~$5, if you need it.
