I never worked in retail, oddly enough. In high school I lived in a rural area where the only occupations were farmer and redneck, and when I went to university I was hired by them as a tutor. I applied for an internship with a computer security company this summer.

Get rid of Norton. You're computer will be running smoothly in no time.

Work shut down two hours early because it's warm and sunny and the people in charge didn't feel like hanging around any longer. And they wanted to give us a small reward for the hard work we've been doing.

I'm not exactly enjoying the great outdoors right now, but I sure as hell am enjoying the extra chill time at home.

Yeah, who needs the outdoors? There's no Internet outdoors!

Actually, I try to walk places to get exercise...which is sometimes hard with this cold and snow and wind.

If I had a reasonably decent laptop and a stable wireless network, I'd probably more often than not be outdoors when on the 'net.. I'm indoors too much anymore, so the option of enjoying the great out doors is much more preferable to staying cooped up in here all the time.

One can always go outside without a laptop and internet, if you must know.

Wireless. Just go outside someone's house and leech it.

But SamuraiX said no laptop. Would I have to bring a desktop and plug it into some random outdoor outlet?

Or, sit inside your room and leech it. That's what I do. Why use dialup when you have someone else's wireless?
