I suggest that you darken the logs a little. At the moment, they don't stand out too visibly against the vines.

Left: Revised layer 1 palette and BG candidate.
Right: Same, but with the BG vines' red values reduced. This seems to look less flat.

	The lack of any outline irks me. But I suppose I've always been biased to outlined graphics. I don't think purple is a very good background color choice though. ____________________

I really like the atmosphere you're creating with that fort, it looks great. I know the movie's outdated, but the constant bowser intro music is very annoying, IMO.

Best I could suggest is that you use the bowser battle SFX from the second message room onwards, and use song 00 so that it doesn't continually restart.
