Oh yes, this program does not help when you get a bunch of boxes in addmusic(they are Japanese characters indeed), but when you have trouble whether to delete a channel in a midi file or to compose your own music, then this program becomes handy.
NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE BASICAL MUSIC KNOWLEDGE TO USE THIS SOFTWARE This program is called Overture, URL: http://geniesoft.com/trialversions/Overture4Demo.exe I don't know what function does this demo contains(I just used a Chinese version), but as far as I know, this software supports midi format so you can decide which channel to delete or modify, and if you want to compose a new piece you can use it as well, instead of plain txt files, and output a midi file. Well at least this software helps me a lot. Enjoy [edit]and here are some useless words. to see errors in addmusic more clearly, you can copy the text into ultraedit, the line numbers correspond to the error line numbers shown in addmusic. ____________________ Busy with chem and osu! |

Posted by blackhole89 I'll post some of the Japanese characters here, so you change the character set to Shift-JIS and read my explanations(I know a little Japanese ) For example: (1)13.txt のサイズ: 1505 = The size of 13.txt : 1505 (2)エラー:変換データが容量を超えました エラー:ファイル書きこみ失敗 java.lang.Exception ファイルへの書きこみに失敗しました This is the error message you get when you try to input large music. Maybe if the size of the files inputed earlier are way too large (~7-8K), then this will pop up. The last line is displayed when the file is failed to input, no matter what kind of error it is. (3)95 行目 エラー:オクターブの指定が不正です This will show up if you've got the error like "o7". Actually it means an octave error. (4)95 行目 エラー:音程が高すぎます 96 行目 エラー:音程が高すぎます bla bla bla... These messages normally will appear in bunches, if you've got one > or < wrong, then the following lines will be wrong too. Just check out the first line and correct it. (5)99 行目 エラー:「>」 This will usually appear along with (4) So as far as I know these are usually seen in the addmusic program. Posted by andres I don't know when you open the text files what do you get, but I just get a lot of scrambled character(for Japanese). And my meaning for that sentense is it doesn't help with recognizing Japanese characters Posted by blackhole89 Yes, this is a GUI MIDI tracker, but I find it very fit for custom music so I posted it here ____________________ Busy with chem and osu! |
