Has anyone else seen this yet?

I really enjoyed Abrams' vision of a new-age, yet old school monster movie. I thought it was a good choice to stay with the same characters the whole way through, it lent a feeling of helplessness and tension. Though there were a few things that bothered me (Going halfway across the city to where the monster is into this half-toppled building for a girl I got to know a few weeks ago? Sure, sounds like a great idea!), all in all, I enjoyed the movie. Especially the nihilistic ending.


So, what'd you guys think?

The ony thing I hated is the introduction party, which was way too long...

Do you think there could be a sequel? They find another tape somewhere else...

They could start from the discovery of the monster and follow it into the city. We would get to see Rob and his friends again, but just for a brief time.

Then the movie could continue off from the end of the first one.

With how everyone talks about this movie, I made... uhm lots attempts to see it.

And failed hard with it. Or it was of a such low quality that... yeah.

I enjoyed the movie. The monster was definetly awesome.
