I couldn't decide whether to put this here or in Gaming although this related to emulation I thought it would be wise to put it here.
If this is in the wrong thread please can someone move this. Many thanks... Would anyone recommend any console or handheld emulation for mobile phones which runs in Java and use the midi sequencer? In case anyone asks, I have a Sony Ericsson K510i. I have two emulators at the moment meBoy (which has no sound) and Nescube (which has sound and runs of the midi). Lets just say, I prefer taking gaming on the go than sitting on my backside all day in the house on the computer typing away like I am now. ____________________ L.Wares Need any information or help hacking SMW? ask these people via PM: Music & SFX - mattrizzle & blackhole89 addmusic - S.N.N. Then buy a PSP, GP2X or a DS and fill it with better emulators.
The best in the emulation you'll be getting is a Nokia N-Gage. Zing! ____________________ |

I prefer emulators which I don't have to pay for.
Although, thanks anyway. ____________________ L.Wares Need any information or help hacking SMW? ask these people via PM: Music & SFX - mattrizzle & blackhole89 addmusic - S.N.N. Custom sprites/sprite tool - mikeyk |

Posted by lwares They're very old, so you can find illegal 'cracks' on certain sites. ____________________ |

I was goggling for Java emulators.
...I'm surprised that there's so few, especially for the mobile platform. oO And the few emulators I found didn't seem to be open source as well... nghh. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Posted by Raccoon SamPosted by lwares Anyway, I had a good look yesterday and found some decent emulators although there is a trial version which I don't want and a full version which needs to be paid for. I found this the same on most of the emulators I found which funny enough have sound and emulate perfectly depending on the mobile's CPU. Here are the ones I found: Game Boy Advance (vBag) Game Boy/Game Boy Colour (vBoy) Snes (vSun) Nes (vNes) All of which can be found here ____________________ L.Wares Need any information or help hacking SMW? ask these people via PM: Music & SFX - mattrizzle & blackhole89 addmusic - S.N.N.
