KDE4 is supposed to be faster as well. I really hadn't tried KDE much in the last few years, but I might exprimentate with it a bit on my Ubuntu laptop. I probably would be more careful than you, and probably avoid installing it if it's not available for my package system.

Ailure: KDE 4 can be installed on Ubuntu with KDE 3 on it simultaneously...
Also you can't reconfigure the panel, wtf. Also I noticed their Solitaire renderer got a facelift, heh. |
