I worked Saturday, then that night I played Warcraft III until about 4 in the morning, then repeated the process after sleeping all day Sunday.

My weekend was ok. Saturday I went to the arcade to play PIU NX and actually improved, so that's good. I can almost do an actual dance to Lazenca, Save Us. XD

Then I did... well, nothing. We were supposed to work outside yesterday to clean up the yard, but my parents didn't make us nor did they want to.

I've been documenting the design of my dissertation this year- a forum system. I've been producing class specifications for each of my object types, I've got eight so far. I will probably end up with around 15 by the end of it.

The actual forum is hovering around 64k in size at the moment. It's coded in object oriented PHP5. It keeps the number of database queries to a minimum (akin to board2, contrasting 1.92 which I last counted using upwards of 50 queries a page). Produced markup is XHTML compliant and fully indented. Source is fully indented and commented. I'm also using design patterns where I can (mostly iterators at the moment).

The point of the dissertation is to investigate community tagging and information retrival tools (and possibly social bookmarking) like Flickr and Digg, and to implement new ideas where possible. Tags are going to be moderated by board staff and applied by content creators. I'm also going to look at optimising the forum to work with google and digg.

my weekend was absolutely fucking terrible.
on friday I was stranded at a musuem for about 5 hours, until alot of walking and $5 later from phone calls that people didn't answer and bus fare got me home.

on saturday I had two of my teeth ripped out, and I couldn't eat, drink, smoke, or focus on anything until sometime sunday night.

My PC has been running like shit, it would load everythign shit-slow and so-on and just recently I opened up the case and cleaned most of the dust out, the power supply is hot as all fuck. I'm leaving it run with the case off for the moment, and noticing a major improvement.

and my sleep schedule is all fucked up again due to the whole tooth thing.

I don't have any school today, which means tomorrow I have to walk to a bus stop (which is lame as hell: 20 minutes of uphill and citysteps which my smoking junk-food munching body is not made for)

Oh, and to top it off, I'm PC-less for the next 3 days to a week. Normally I'd just go out and do stuff, but since I moved there is absolutely nothing outside to do. I've resorted to playing through my game collection. Sonic 1 down, SFA2 down, KI down, SMB down, SMB3 down, and I'm about done with MMX1 now

I went to the city with my mother on Saturday, looked around furniture stores for a bit, hung out at the mall, pissed around at the casino for a bit. I was going to buy a shitty refurbished laptop to take notes with at school, but she was a little annoyed with that mentality and she contributed 300 dollars.

I ended up getting a decent midrange one.

Spent Sunday morning jumping between buses trying to get the hell home

My weekend would have been better if they didn't take away the Presidents' Day holiday. But no, the school district wanted to make up the 2 days we lost due to the snow days back in the middle of January of this year. I have no idea what other day they plan on taking away.

All I did over those 2 days was finish Diddy Kong Racing DS which I did, play some other games, or hang out at the board.
