You can tell that the minute you see the hypercam logo and the unmodified ow that it is usually crappy -.-

The screenshot above is a bit better, honestly. But the small pipes look deformed and the bridges lack shading.

If your going to make a n exgfx hack, at least use custom palletes >_____>

Um, the hypercam logo doesn't make it crappy. The unmodified OW, sure.

Why do you say that about the ow? It is an exgfx hack, not a freakin OW source Besides, all Iceman did was make a slab a grass to replace yi And about the bridge, tell that to remnic, I ripped them from his custom exgfx set.

EDIT: Yeah, I planned to make the shine a bit smaller on the small pipes seeming as, well, THERE SMALLER!

EDIT2: I tweaked the pipes a little. here is a pic:

Also, I might just remove the bridge thing because they are like, IMPOSSIBLE to make better D:

It's a little bit better, but it still needs work. You still are using too few colors, and the thin white stripe on the right of the pipes makes them look irregular.

A little bit better still. Try moving it in farther, and use more colors.

I still dont know what you mean by that O_o I am using the orange(wich would be your default green, yellow, purple, etc.) and the red (darker versions of the colors listed before) for the shadow, and the dark grey (wich would turn out white) for the shine. What else is there to do?

Define the colors manually.

A simple example: Say you have colors with the RGB values (255, 128, 128) and (128, 192, 192). If you need a color that blends them together, then take the averages of the RGB values. You'll end up with something like (192, 160, 160), and there's the color you need.

Say you have the colors (255, 0, 0) and (0, 0, 255). Create the average and you'll have the colors (255, 0, 0), (128, 0, 128), and (0, 0, 255).

Now, take the averages of each set of adjacent colors. You'll then have (255, 0, 0), (192, 0, 64), (128, 0, 128), (64, 0, 192), and (0, 0, 255).

Now you have three averages.

Each color has an RGB value. R is the amount of red in the color, G is the amount of green, and B is the amount of blue. The value is expressed as R, G, B, or simply RGB.

Now...the average of a set of numbers is the sum of all the numbers divided by the number of numbers in the set.

Now that you know how to take an average, take the averages of the R, G, and B values of your two colors. The new R, G, and B values make your new color. You can keep taking averages as they get closer together for better gradients.

Just take the palette you're using and open it in LM. You can find the RGB values in there.

YY-CHR should let you save the palette you're using.

Are we going to see more GFX of just that custom one? If you want I could do some GBA GFX or some GFX from spritesheets or ripped ones (no DKC ones) but I can't promise anything.
