I always go backwards with the backspace key outside of any form element's context.

On the rare occasion I need to go forward, I use the toolbar.

Personally I never got used to that "Backspace" shortcut most people seem to use. I'm old fashioned and use Alt-Left/Right

Last view: 5932 days 		Mouse gestures. Since I'm at home in the late afternoon or evening usually, I am too "tired" to use the hands on the keyboard for navigating the web only. On the other hand I am simply a lot faster doing basic stuff like reload, back and forward with the mouse, and I like the convenience behind it.

Last view: 3223 days 		I use the toolbar to go backwards, go forwards, reload, stop loading, manually enter URLs, and access some bookmarks. I use the context menu to view source, view page properties, and block image servers. Finally, I use the pull down menus to access most other features.

The only time I make significant use of keyboard commands is if I'm using a text mode browser.
