Heh. Your post offers no sense of direction... so we're once again without an interesting topic.

So I will attempt.

I found The Black Hole to be very atypical for a Disney movie.

That was a fantastic decision.

Personally, the new computer I bought a few months ago. It hasn't let me down yet.

Why are firecrackers illegal in Canada?
Canada sucks, so they must confirm it by being uncool and ban firecrackers?
It doesn't make sense...

They're banned in Oregon too which makes no fucking sense. It dumps buckets here on an almost regular basis...

Now that you mention, my area of Murrieta frowns upon them too. And it is lame as Hell here!

I think it's a law: If you don't have fireworks, then your town sucks shit. But at least it's just this place and not the whole state of California.

It's illegal in my state.

We however live on the border, and we go a few miles into another state to blow shit up.

I don't get it.

It's like banning gasoline for being flammable

Gasoline isn't meant to be shot around at high speeds.

Which brings us to dihydrogen monoxide. I mean, you can drown in it! Why haven't we banned it yet?

:O That's some dangerous shit.

Dihydrogen monoxide:

* is called "hydroxyl acid", the substance is the major component of acid rain.
* contributes to the "greenhouse effect".
* may cause severe burns.
* contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape.
* accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals.
* may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes.
* has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients.

Despite the danger, dihydrogen monoxide is often used:

* as an industrial solvent and coolant.
* in nuclear power plants.
* in the production of styrofoam.
* as a fire retardant.
* in many forms of cruel animal research.
* in the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical.
* as an additive in certain "junk-foods" and other food products.

You can drown in water too. Shall we ban it?
