I've obtained a newfound interest in TF2, mainly the pyro. :V

Simply because the pyro achievement map is fun. Nothing like throwing crit rockets at the other team.

Those who live in foreign countries where none of the stores import anything but Coca Cola and Fanta.

Someone once sold over 120 pounds of dehydrated chicken via ebay - Soda seems relatively mild compared to that.
Although I suppose with rising gas prices it wouldn't be very efficient to ship.

There's something called Pyro tennis, where two teams of pyros keeps reflecting a rocket back and forth.

It's fun.

This makes me think of how, at some point in its history, Soviet Russia bought up a large amount of frozen chickens that were due to expire from the USA's strategical reserves. While left in their frozen state, they looked flawless, but had the reputation of melting down to pulp or porridge when unfrozen.

Oh yeah, I had a power outage earlier today. The whole town went pitch black, and it was kinda scary since I didn't have any flash light handy.

Thankfully, the stairs have emergency lights, so I just needed to stumble out to the apartment door and open it to light up my apartment.

I remember one time (this happened a while ago) when there was a power outage in the early morning (around 2 AM or so). To get light in that situation, I just opened up my cell phone so that the backlit screen was visible. :o

Except it was somewhat bright when it happened here. You don't have any windows?

Power was gone for around 15-20 mins.

I remember when my town went pitch black. I was out of town at the time of power loss, so when I drove in, everything was black. It's as if the town just disappeared. There were very few emergency lights. After I got home, I flicked the light switch out of habit and from out of the window I could see the entire sky turn a bright blue. It was the power plant, and someone obviously fucked up. After a few more intense power surges, I saw tens of emergency vehicles charge down the street. Power was eventually restored, though I don't know how.

Pretty scary shit right there.

My DS gives off an epic glow when backlit in a dark room.

Also, no bad power outages recently.

This reminds me. This winter, after getting out of Guilty Gear club, when it was a little after midnight, we all just went out of the building we were in, to discover the sky was red, it was snowing, and an alarm was going off somewhere. Power wasn't out, but... It was Silent Hill-tastic.

The most recent power outages in my area were sometime around June. There was some intense thunder and lightning, but most of the recurring outages were fixed while it was still light.
