Apart from the Ragnarök Online anime, the Pokémon animé is probably the dumbest animé I ever seen.

I want to be the very best
Like no one ever was.
To catch them is my real test;
To train them is my cause.

I will travel across the land
Searching far and wide
These Pokemon, to understand
The power that's inside.

(That's as far as I can go without cheating)

EDIT: REMIX!

He's already the manliest
Like no one ever was
To punch them is his real test
To knee them is his cause

He will travel across the land
Kicking far and wide
Every racer to understand
The power that's inside

FALCON PUNCH!
To you and me
You know its his DESTI-KNEE.
FALCON PUNCH!
Oh he's your worst friend
In a world he must upend
FALCON PUNCH!
His heart's a grue
Our courage won't pull us through,

He punched me and he'll punch you,
FALCON PUNCH! Gotta punch'em all

Oh boy, Zel released a new version of Shiny Gold, and people are going absolutely crazy and exaggerating that every flat out pixel added to the game is pure awesomeness.

Pokecommunity fails (a word that I don't use very often).

I typically despise Pokemon and the community that surrounds it, but I actually gave Prism a shot and found it to be a very competent and enjoyable hack.

However, I gave this "Shiny Gold" hack a spin today, and it's really a piece of shit. I could understand Zel getting slightly upset at losing that competition if it were, you know, any good, but after actually seeing it in action his reaction was fucking hilarious.

He and his "fan club" need to be forceably sterilized to prevent their mongoloid genes from spreading into the general populace.

In other words, the SMW community now looks way more mature thanks to the Pokémon hacking one. xD
I would say that I never thought that was possible except...I've actually seen the PC website before, and it's...
+ + + + + copious amounts of

I thought it was just a bunch of with copious amounts of + + + (smiley indicating incessant flaming, blatant fanboyism, and a giant pile of dog shit, all in one)

Oh well.

I mean, it's Pokecommunity. Who cares?

The anime I grew out of quickly (after I was what, 12 years old?) but the games are classics and can appeal to any generation of people if they are willing to try them out.

I'm actually the same way... the show just got far too repetitive after time. I still think the first few seasons are pretty decent, though.

And things like this thread are why I've always avoided Pokécommunity... even during my brief stint in Red/Blue hacking back in 2004.

...and holy shit I actually posted WHAT

I used to like Pokemon and I've always hated anime!

Maybe it's because I was little and the show had brightly-flashing colours.

Uh, I read the first page of the thread, and it was mostly "Damn, Shiny Gold didnt win, but Prism was better than/as good as (In relation to the "There should've been a GBC and GBA award" posts) it anyway." kinda posts, so this seems kinda out of proportion. Then again, there were a few "OMG Shiny Gold didnt win this shit wuz rigged!!!11" posts that I saw, so...

Really, Shiny Gold is just a shiny remake of gold set within the limitations of the Fire Red engine, because nobody seems to be able to try hacking in some of Gold's more 'advanced' features (Clock, day to night cycle, actual radio (Why doesnt Zel just edit the Teachy TV scripts into generic TV shows in the radio station or something? Yeesh...), real phones (Replace 'Teachy TV scripts' with 'VS Seeker scripts' and 'generic TV shows in the radio stations' into 'phone conversations' for the above, or maybe just some ASM reprogramming?), and various other features that really made Gold and Silver stand out.) and making the remixes sound good (The edited songs are ten times louder than the originals and they make my ears hurt. Enough said).

Whereas Prism is a WHOLE NEW GAME. Full of assembly, text, and graphical hacks, breaking the limitations of the original, and ending up with an awesome, fun game without resorting to cheap tricks (Well, okay, it does have it's fair share of obvious plot devices that dont make much sense, but these can be ignored.) or half-assed feature remakes!

Whew, that was a long rant. Heh...

HEY DO YOU NO WHERE I MAY FIND P.E.T HACKING TOOLS

If you know anything about PET at all, you know that it is a singular hacking tool in itself.

Is it bad that I've banned him on the spot?
