Now we have around -10°C, and still no snow... this is annoying :X

At least I have no school so I can spend the whole day at home without going out into the cold~

Heh, it's warmer here due to me being close to the coast.

Seems like there won't be a white christmas this year. Shame. I love snow. It makes everything look more cheerful outside.

We did have some snow on the ground for a while, but most of it's melted by now.

It seems like the only time we don't have snow on the ground is at Christmas.

Isn't it like that everywhere? About Christmas itself rarely having snow.

...which seems to be true for most places in the world even. oO

Don't come and talk about Global Warming™, we've got some 80 cm of snow within 4 days and around -22 °C. Not that -22 is bad, except when it's accompanied by 40 km/h winds coming from the North. Cold and dry is bearable to relatively low temperatures. So yes, we'll have plenty of snow for Christmas, as usual...

What we wish for is snow falling at midnight of Christmas Eve...

But just like the Perseids Meteor Shower in August, many conditions must be met simultaneously to have the perfect Christmas, in terms of weather. Cold and dry air, between -10 and -15 °C, falling snow and no wind...

Sure, it's from my cultural point of view...

No, I wasn't talking about global warming. Just that in Sweden snow tend to come after Christmas.

Still, we did get some screwy weather that we aren't even supposed to have regulary. Such as a hurricane...

It's hovering about the 60s (Fahrenheit, or low twenties for you metric goons) in San Diego.

lol blank cell
It was around 30°-40°F all week until today. It was 60° for most of the day, and it rained. Nature just can't do anything right.

I got school off due to too much snow earlier this week.

Still, it's almost all melted because the temperature rose above freezing for a day.

I live near Phoenix, AZ. We once got a few snowflakes a few years back, but not on Christmas. We also had a puddle freeze over once, but it was not cloudy that night.

On the other hand, it is nice to be able to wear shorts, a T-shirt, & sandals in December.

As somebody who spends most of the winter months in a perpetual state of latent common cold, I am sure it is.

It was nearly that warm around last year's new year's eve though... I suppose global warming will come~~

Global Warming is not exact...
It should be called Global Weather Disruption, or something like that...

Or climate disruption. The problem is not that it's getting hotter everywhere, but that... the climate would change a bit everywhere. Which is not too good for the life there obviously. So you can say that global warming is misnamed because of that.

We had a few warm summers, but also some extreme winters as well. It feels like the weather gotten a bit more extreme in the recent years either way.

"Do you have snow?" - No.
"Is it snowing in your area?" - No.

Therefore, I voted "WHAT IS SNOW?"
