Damn straight bitches. That right there is a Hello Kitty FM radio.

Yeah. >.>

My pumping beats were too much, the Pokémon Red battle music finished them off.

My actual desktop. Like I'd own a fucking Mac.

Labeled for your convenience.

DMM, this thread should be about desktops in the literal sense much more than screenshots of your computer desktop. We already had enough of the latter...

Kana study cards on the right there, eyedrops by the monitor... I'll take a new one tomorrow, this one is several months old.

There's my desktop. Note the presence of imported junk food from Japan. There's Nori Maki Mate, Hi-Chew (Banana flavored), spicy rice crackers, and fried sweet potato crackers. The desk that my lappy is sitting on was built by me. There's a minifridge in the corner, and my TV sitting on top of it. It pretty much stays off, because I like to use the one in my living room instead.

I'll take another picture later.

Edit: YouPorn is better.

Apart from the junk food, your desk and whole room looks mindbogglingly tidy ... is that some sorts of modem to your laptop's left?

...anyway, why did you import that stuff? From what I can tell, there is a fair share of own, naturally way cheaper than imports junk food in every industrialized country.

Actually, I bought that stuff from a Japanese market that imported it. It was relatively cheap too. All that junk food probably cost me about 6 bucks. The majority of money I spent there was for cooking supplies. I normally like to keep my room relatively clean, because, quite frankly, I'm well pleased with my workmanship on that desk. Having a room that looks messy and having a nice desk with a nice chair just kinda defeats the purpose. At least I can *feel* rich.

Click for near-identical hi-res image of above

That thing to the left of my lappy is an 80GB HD. I use it to store most of my larger files. I keep backups on there as well. On screen: board2, my mIRC array (from top: #jzd, #acmlm, #l2j [lineage2 client emulator written in Java], #furry [because they're funny as hell] and #x), fingerprints, dust, and my taskbar. I run Windows XP with Windowblinds 5.5. I haven't upgraded yet, so fuck you. I've also got my cardreader sitting on top of my HD with a 32MB CF card that came out of an epson demo printer from work. The keys on my laptop are marked... because I fucking wanted to mark them. They represent the controls I use for my emulator when I am not using my SNES pad. To the right of my lappy is my DS with my M3 in it. I haven't had enough time to play any of the recent games because I've been preoccupied with other shit. Underneath my desk is a footrest that I just hacked up... it was originally the chair that I used before I got my new one. I love my Dremel. I still need to get my magnifier lamp and holder for my soldering equipment on this desk. Well, there you have it.

Ah, so you actually have first-hand importers over there... I suppose that makes it a different matter. I envy your access to diversified food supplies.

What resolution does your monitor run under?

1680x1050 WSXGA+. 19" of beauty. Comes in handy for a hacker like me. I also love Photoshop, and that comes in handy as well. I really need a desktop computer though. Normally, my desk is cluttered with a bunch of soldering equipment; interdpth sold me his SNES and I'm casemodding it. It's extremely small and... bright. Pictures to come soon.

The speakers are from 98. Everything else (maybe except the mouse) is from 2003+.

1) It's stated in the motherfucking post,
2) Tells us shit we already know (as you said, it's in the picture), and
3) Contributes nothing in the direction of the topic of this thread.
4) It's SamuraiX.

That will be the end of this bullshit. No more debate. Good night.

Anyway, to the rest of you, Age-Old computers are very common in my family. Not due to lack of knowledge about them, but lack of funds to prevent this tragedy from befalling them. My computer is actually paid by the government, is 3 years old, and would not be in my possession if I hadn't gone to college for a year. I really need a desktop computer, but, as I said, I lack the funds.

Also, knuck: who is that in your last picture? I'ma look up some pr0n. Er, just curious.
