Getting facebook would be suicide for me.

ailure, facebook is for everyone. you only associate with people you befriend and groups you join. all kinds of people sign up, and to be intimidated because the cooler kids might use the same website as you is pretty sad.

Posted by YD Um, facebook isn't for everyone. It does tend to attract the sort that expose themselves, as it's the type of thing where most people who sign up use their real names, and have hundreds of self-portraits. |

One of my classmates was one of those people, and it didn't work too well as I recall. Should really ask him why again one of those days.

I mean... it's not even a thing. You don't have to make a big deal out of "joining a social network." You don't have to plan out the changes in your exciting new life. You just sign up and see if you like the convenience of sending messages to people you know, or to people your friends know, or whatever. ____________________ |

I'm not sure what you mean. You can search any name on there and send them a message, but you can't look at everybody's profile.

Can you find your mail address by googling? You can't find mine, I hope. Look, facebook was made for college students, where pretty much anyone you meet is going to have a facebook account, so if you meet someone you can look up their name later and add them as a friend or whatever. I don't know what you're expecting. If you're looking for a magical device that gives you friends then I guess facebook isn't it. ____________________ |
