Seriously, anyone gotten it or any of it's spefic games? It rocks! Been playing it like crazy myself. I love the achievement system.

I got every achievement in Portal. Portal is probably the best game out of the package, even if it's a bit short. It's challange and advanced levels make the game last for longer.

HL2 is... eh just trust me saying it's good. It's the only game in package I had since before, so I gave it to my sister.

HL2: Episode 1 kinda felt weak in some aspects, but it was still good. The commentary mode is kind of intresting... like how in early development you actually got the weapons much later but playtesters found that too annoying.

HL2: Episode 2 is longer, and have more goodies. Feels like the plain HL2 in terms of length even. Yet have to do all achievements on this one, such as the fabled gnome one.

Hadn't played TF2 too much honestly. Probably will play it more soon though... did a small session together with some friends for about a week ago.

Portal kicks all kinds of ass.

i've been loving TF2 lots, though. Nothing beats almost perfecting the run to the flag as a spy in 2fort.

I copied Portal from a classmate a few days back and liked it a lot so far (currently being at level 18 or something... I advance slowly since I still get nausea from 3D graphics ). Who knows, maybe I'll consider getting the whole thing; however, wouldn't it be better to play the predecessor Half-Life games before the one contained here for storyline's sake?

Well, they are related but it's not really like the whole game is spoiled by not playing the first one. The story for it is rather basic, so it's easy to just read the wikipedia article about it. And it's gameplay is bit more traditional in terms of FPS gaming, so there's less variety.

HL1 is like "Doom" with "experiment with teleportation going wrong".

HL2 is more like 1984, with it's Alien big brother scenario.

How large would HL2 be anyway? (disk space used up, that is)

Downloaded it today.

Portal and TF2 are awesome. Haven't tried the new Half-Life episode yet, HL2 was way to much vehicle driving for me.

Personally, I liked the HL2 driving parts (though I kinda prefer not driving constantly still). Episode 1 have no driving, while Episode 2 do.

I've just got the early HL2 collector's edition (included access to HL1-based games), and HL2 Xbox. Fairly hard puzzles if you're not familiar with them. I'd been stuck in a certain area quite some time. Now I'm in some place called Ravenholm or whatever it was.

Ah yes, Ravenholm... that's probably the most confusing part of HL2. One of the more intresting too. I admit though, it's... very different from the rest of the game. Or even the series. The game designers just probably wanted to create a horror stage, complete with a over the top character.

So I just beat Portal.

The final confrontation was almost as epic as [ HAL9000's shutdown in 2001: A Space Odyssey. ]whee spoiler

Yea I got this like a month ago. Love TF2, beat Portal between classes but I my hl2 ep 1 data acts funny; when I try to load the game from that point(after all the zombine) the game crashes.

I kick ass in TF2 as the Pyro and Soldier.

You should probably play over from the last chapter you were on, the chapters aren't really that long anyway.

I beat the game twice, once normal and another time with hard... but with commentary mode. The game didn't really get that much harder really. xD Parts that were tricky originally didn't get too much harder.

The hunters really took a lot out of me. Episode 2 does everything right so far. I'd even say that it has better pacing than the original game. While the HL2 series itself is pretty good with having you deal with a fair amount of high action scenes, puzzle solving, and intense dialogue, with adequate time for each. There's also the nice occasional change of scenery that keeps players interested.

I gotta say the "Puttin' on a Clinic" achievement was the most entertaining for me just because of the annoying resistance guy with those tired ass remarks. So funny!

Yeah. It was kinda funny with those stupid remarks. Especially when you hear the same ones several times over, due to misses.

I probably try to get all Episode 2 archivments soon. I started on a gnome game, but hadn't even gone through the first chapter yet. xD I saved and stopped where I got the gnome, so it's not really far.
