So, why exactly isn't this thread stickied? Since it's like, a collaborative effort from the whole board.
I thought it would be a cheap plug to stick it.

Seems like someone else did it, so I'm leaving it like that.

I think this thread floated well enough on it's own anyways.

I probably work on implementing some of the user levels into the base ROM. Or maybe I should put them into a separate test ROM, so people can evaluate them... hmm.

Remember though, it helps in advance if you reserve level ID's on the wiki, so level merging process is somewhat simpler.

If the thread is stickied and no one works on it for a while, it will still attract attention (after that box in the upper right corner is gone), and then someone else could pick it up.

Also, that bronze-ish castle palette is ugly.

Thought so; I toned it down a little.

However, the palette probably isn't too big a concern since I'm sure we'll get some nice exGFX to replace the boring old castle bricks

Also, I should probably reserve levels 135-139 on the wiki now. I'm actually considering throwing another level in here for consideration, but it's nowhere near finished and will require a lot of work (hint: it's a big pipe maze).

Try to cut it down to use less levels (there is hardly a problem with sticking two levels with the same graphics and header settings into one); we are sure to get space problems earlier or later.

That's exactly how I plan to do it. Shouldn't take more than 4 or 5 levels, maybe less if I can really cram them in.

It's not like you contributed much, or were considered part of the core team so...

Heh, and it's a good idea to try conserving on level index space. Just hpoe we won't run out of level entry data instead...

What?

You weren't in. You've never made any visible contribution to SMW hacking anyway. Waste of a post, but you need to be told these things so you don't go on to bug other people.

For people who don't check the Wiki often, there's been some activity.

Please stop derailing the thread, guys.

So, what ideas for lesser/stage bosses do we have? I picked up orynider, Ninja AE (both of those sound like good concepts to me) on the IRC; additionally, I think the Spatulator could somehow be integrated, plus the "ghost of Emuz" using Data Drain (and having an overall distinctly .hackish appearance) on the player in some either admin or oldbie related area.

I was thinking up a mini-boss for the /b/asement myself... I was thinking Anonymous... But I don't think that would work out too well, anyone got any better ideas?

If you want a /b/ themed level, it's got to be Richard C. Mongler.

Well, been working on Cesspit Sewers. I'm about done 50% of the level, then I just have to go through it and add exits/sprites.
