I'm currently reading an old children's story on Project Gutenberg that I am unsure if many of you would be familiar with.

It's called Dot and the Kangaroo and it's a story I remember seeing as a film when I was a child. I wasn't aware the book was written so many years ago (1899) and so was then rather pleased when I could find it on Project Gutenberg.

I've read other things on Project Gutenberg before too. I think I might have even read Nineteen Eighty-Four on there.

Just wondering -- have you guys checked out Project Gutenberg? What have you read / are you reading?

I've never read an entire book straight from the site, but I rely on Project Gutenberg whenever I have to write an essay for English. It is infinitely easier for me to find quotations to use in essays if I can just search for keywords rather than manually looking through a book.
