If one invented an arm prosthesis capable of doing everything a regular arm can, but be a lot stronger and way less fragile, would you be willing to replace your fully functional arm with it?

(Yes, it's a serious question.)

Would it let me slide like 50 stories down a building, using my arm to slow me down, like what Will Smith did?

Of course I would.

Then I could rock.

Got to go with maybe... the rational optimist in me would say "fuck yeah, go for it" while my technical realist half would make the point that it'd likely be prone to bluescreens, malicious software infection and generally full of bugs...

What? You act like your arm would run off a desktop via wifi.

Seriously... it should only react to your nerves' signals the same way a real arm does.

lol blank cell
It would depend on how strong it is. I'm not going to replace my arm for a piece of crap robotic arm, but maybe something that will allow me to life up cars.

Trivial, since one cannot truly affirm the harms or benefits of nonexistent objects. The question SH asks is just a roundabout way of asking if one might augment their body with technology, and to what extent.

It depends on whether I can flex the robotic arms to make it look like I have huge muscles.

Yeah, I went with both of them. If those existed, and I had the money, I'd totally want to be a cyborg. Think about all the senoritas I could get.

If that shit is not from a bull, it seriously compromises your post quality. And please don't tell me your source is WIKIPEDIA.

I raise an important question.

Can the arm be upgraded to include the Falco Punch ability?

I'd say yes but...something about replacing my arms with that, even if it would be the same just stronger..I feel like I'd miss my fragile arms. I don't have any battles to fight so I don't need them.

Probably would be less flexible than the biological equilant too.
