Last view: 5950 days 		Why must we ("WE" as in high scholars) must have 2 years of Spanish in order to Gajiate/Graduate? (I'm not trying to be a jerk face) Don’t you think they should learn English? Why must we have 4 of English and 2 of Spanish when we have spoken English the majority of our lives? I understand that Bilinguals get more job opportunities, but where does the "Freedom" of choice nullified?

(P.s I voted me to shut up... for that one person who does.)

Being bilingual means more than job opportunities. Some smart person once said that with every new language you learn, you see the world with a new pair of eyes; and judging from your post, people like you have bad necessity of gaining an additional point of view at the world.

Besides, if I didn't know multiple languages, I couldn't tell you off here right now. See how useful it is?

*Ahem* "People like me" do not have the ability to learn a new language. The teachers at the school I attended didn’t (Apparently) didn’t do much to teach me. We watched Armageddon w/ Spanish subtitles. That’s in the past. I don’t intend on sounding like a smart ass (B/C I’m neither) but this it’s a "debate" and I assume that "Telling people off" doesn’t sound like a professional way of doing things. I enjoy looking at the world in a different way but this isn’t the case.

Anyway, I agree with Mystery Gourmet. Whatever is required to graduate is only for your own good. Sure, English class probably isn't the most favorite subject in the majority of people's likes and dislikes, but trust me, you're going to look back and be thankful for these classes.
