Am I the only one who thought the bosses were made more-so for their creativity, not all the bosses are just piss easy like they have been, but think about it, the bosses in Mario have always been easy, need I say "To defeat bowser hit him with 5 fireballs or step on the axe to cut the bridge." or "Jump on the Koopa Kid's head 3 times and he will be defeated." Seriously, it's a trend that's been around since day one, the bosses are usually very easy in Mario, but I'll be damned if any of them aren't fun. ____________________ Why are you reading this? Posted by Grey MegatronI agree that in retrospec it was pretty poor of Nintendo to have the same boss 3 times but at the time Mario64 felt so good that it didn't really matter.Posted by ShadowTails Slightly dissapointed that there is no one on one actual arse kicking of Bowser Jr in Galaxy. With a character that is that annoying you should really be able to have a more hands on fight. I'd say the Boswer fights in Galaxy are the best bowser battles to date with being able to spin attack him after his SMB3 style hurting himself. ____________________ Deviant Art Profile |

Posted by Grey MegatronHeh, while Bowser 1 in the same game is piss-easy.Posted by ShadowTails ...though the stage itself was challenging enough to make up for that anyway. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Weren't just about all the Bosses in Super Mario Bros. 3 the same? all took 3 hits and barely any different except the mini-bosses gained wings at times, the koopalings just moved around differently and fired stuff at you, and basically Bowser was the same in all the Mario 64 battles.
But so far in Galaxy all of the bosses have been unique, I also had fun fighting them. I mean, it's not like it's meant to bore you, and I would have to say I am hardly ever bored while playing a Mario game. ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

At least the koopalings did bring some challange. The Boom-boom boss was pathetic, mostly becuse programmers didn't implement a short invincibility period after he recovered from your jump (so with right timing, you beat him within five seconds :/). ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Anyone having these kinds of problems? I get them on occasion and don't know what causes them (my digital camera sucks at video capture, but you get the idea...) ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

Is your nunchuck's connector corroded, or its wiring bent too far in one direction, or chewed through by mice?
Also, check to see how low your Wiimote's batteries are, the quality of your sensor bar cable, and if there's anything that would interfere with the infrared. ____________________ we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties |

Posted by Grey Megatron I think my Nunchuck is fine, I was wondering if it was just the game itself. Sure I have a 3rd party chargeable battery pack, but this happened even with regular batteries... it happened the day I got it home (the game) This is the only game it happens on, all my other games have no problem, and I have no problem getting through the menus or anything on the regular wii menu, it just decides to happen occasionally... it's the remote itself because it turns off during it, if I press A while it happens it stays on, but it's annoying... Could it be my game is messed up? because the cutscenes were skipping when I first started playing it, and I've had one disc reading error... should I exchange the game? I have Metal Slug anthology and never had any problems with Wii sports, just Galaxy. It only happens when on the stars that you need to shake the remote to warp... I've never had trouble with anything else on any other game before, and if it is my Nunchuck it looks fine... I take good care of my systems and their controllers. ____________________ Why are you reading this? My post is up there^ |

I had been thinking of getting a Wii for some time, but the expected release of Super Mario Galaxy sealed the deal. The week before SMG came out, I went to Wal-Mart to check if any Wiis were in stock, and a shipment had just came in. When I went to check on SMG, it turned out that Nintendo was shipping the game to Wal-Mart on the release date, so it took a couple of days for it to reach the shelves.
Of course, I have been playing it heavily for the last week and a half. |

I have 80 stars right now, and while it can be easy, it generally offers a good challenge and is easily my GOTY. |

Posted by DSMagnumPosted by ShadowTails To get a ridiculously fun long lasting platformer series with spinoffs that include golf, tennis, basketball, go-kart races, and parties. Posted by ShadowTailsPosted by Grey Megatron I got a "Shut off your Wii" error once myself, turns out my disc was just dirty. But you've probably already checked for dirt. ____________________ |

Posted by NEONswift Even in SMG, that Bowser fight on that special planet appeared many times. It got annoying actually, because once I figured out how to beat him I could beat him easily. Also, I really need to play it more...I've just had a lot of other things to do. ____________________ "There are 3 types of people in this world: Those who can count and those who can't." |

I have 58 stars, though I haven't played it much.
I can never find any of the secret stars though. D: ____________________ "There are 3 types of people in this world: Those who can count and those who can't." |

I have been putting off finishing this one because I just love it too much D: I don't want to finish it because when I do... meh I dunno it's just so good you don't want it to end?
I found out my Wii Remote problem, it deals with the fact that the batteries were about dead and the remote shuts off when they do run out of power... hehe... I hate when that happens, I got killed on Resident Evil 4 once because the remotes power cut off right in the middle of the game... unlike Super Mario Galaxy which has a message come up when that happens... ____________________ Why are you reading this?
