I miss pretty much everything that has been said so far, in addition:

- Those little links on the main page in the "Last post" column that directs you to the last post written in that forum. They were handy.
- Private Messages. A specific person knows why I say this.
- That split forum layout that splits the list of forums on the main page in two columns instead of one. It may not be so useful with less forums, but it looked cool.

I know these aren't that important now, but the thread's title is "Features you miss", and not "Features you immediately must have", is it?

Ban reasons should be public IMO, but meh. In the end some admins just forgot to put the ban reason in the custom title. :/

I agree with this. It should help people understand why they're banned.. well.. at least a bit. :\

If we do add placeholders, it'd be nice to have them disappear eventually as well, I've seen other forums where you end up with long lists of placeholders even back in the archives of old threads...

The main feature I miss are layouts...

That's something I always been annoyed with, lack of staff transparency.

I mean, when you're one of the admins, with alot of powerz and stuff and you still don't know who/what/why about some stuff. :/

Yes. The staff should definately be more transparent.

One annoying thing with the split forum layout was that someone had to use a image within a image description.

Split forum is a good idea, but I would wait until the number of forums generates a toolbar on most computers.

<!--stupid center and width hack-->
I hope now we're going with all nifty new stuff we do see some more staff transparency. I just want a lot of the really silly little confusing things to come to an end.

And yeah, I'd like to see the placeholders disappear after a while too, or possibly be "optional" in case of some circumstances Because I can just see how that would go after someone went all silly and made a bunch of rubbish threads...

I'd also be interested in finding out about coding different colour schemes for this board. As I would like to try to contribute at some point perhaps.

I'd also like to see implemented "placeholder" spots for moved threads, redirecting to the new location so that threads can be found Sometimes a moved thread can be confusing.
That feature exists in Invision's forum software, but it's bloody annoying in and of itself since it creates another topic that you can't easily get rid of. Makes the forum look messy, IMHO.

Done. Some pages still might need titles added, but it is done for forum.php and thread.php now.

Can you not wait until March 1 at the very least? XD

(Or April 1. I dunno. Depends when that comes back but it's not the main priority. But you know that. )

Probably a good idea to start in 1st march.

I mean, it gives some time to let the dust settle.

I miss most things that the old board has. For example, I don´t see a "Mark Forum Read" link, no color chart (can be quite useful), and no photo album link.

The post radar was also a neat feature.

I'm really starting to feel the lack of "Mark Forum Read", and the lack of "NEW" indicators on the main page...

I had previously suggested making it so that reading a thread automatically marks it as read. I don't know why every forum on the planet doesn't already have this.

I hate a such feature.

Seriously, twilightRO forums and Janus forums does it and it bugs the hell out of me.

Agreed. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing a lot of the profile options returning.

And again, Mark Forums Read and stuff.

It would be nice to see acmlmwiki up sometime in the future, but the other things that have been mentioned are more important than the wiki.

(Unless it's been moved somewhere and no one has told me).
