I know a lot of people probably already know about this, but I felt someone should make a post about it for those who don't. GlovePIE is a freeware program that lets people make scripts for VR Gloves and the like. The interesting thing about it is that the guy that made this program added Wiimote, Classic Controller, and Nunchuck support. All you need is the program, A computer that can handle Bluetooth, and DirectX 8. If your computer can't do Bluetooth, a USB Bluetooth dongle is only like $20. I have it up and running now and it's pretty awesome. The scripting language is really simple, so if you want to customize what keystroke or mouse move is mapped to each button you shouldn't have much of a problem editing any existing scripts that come with it. The Call of Duty PC one is really good to customize for FPSs. Also you can look here: http://www.wiili.org/index.php/GlovePie_Scripting For help with scripting. There's also a few NES controller scripts bundled with the program. They work pretty well, I even added some extra code to map the save state button to A and the load state to Home to make it even easier to use. So if you can, you should really try it out. |

There is also a similar program for Mac and Linux, called Darwiin.
