"Hello friends (and several bands),

I just wanted to update everyone on my trip to the doctor recently. Before that, I started to notice muscle weakness, loss of appetite, fevers, exhaustion, a sore throat, cogestion in my nasal cavity, among other things. I was feeling terrible and I knew something wasn't right.

I went down to the base hospital a few times but they couldn't pinpoint what was wrong with me exactly, that is until now After several procedures and evaluations, it saddens me to tell you that I have some extremely bad news.

I have been diagnosed with acute viral nasopharyngitis.


This may come as a shock to you as it certainly did me. I was, and still am, devastated. I didn't know much about this condition before. The doctors told me that there is no known cure nor is modern medicine even remotely close to finding one due to the nature of the virus(es) that causes it. The only thing they can do is provide treatment. As it stands now, I don't know how much time left I have to live. I could die in a couple weeks, or several years. The doctors can't predict that due to lack of medical technology. There is just too many factors to consider.

As for myself, I'm trying to stay as positive as I can. However, with this condition I'm in, it's kind of hard to stay happy and in a good mood. I'm not a religious man, but I hope you keep me in your thoughts as I go through this rough time.

Last view: 5648 days 		I've heard of such things blackhole, but so far it doesn't cure anything. It just helps with the symptoms of this treacherous condition. I guess at this point though, I'm willing to try anything.

I also forgot to mention that what I have is highly contagious which alienates me from my friends and loved ones.

I know how it feels. Sometimes I lay in bed with a bottle of jack daniels and some painkillers. It just gets to me and I start crying then stab my mattress. I just stop and begin praying to my god (not your god).
