I could do an English -> Swedish translation... unless there's too much text.

Edit:

Hm... Maybe I should have posted my résumé.

* Top grades in Swedish in 9th-12th year of school.
* I'm the Swedish counterpart to grammar nazi, "språkpolis" (language police).
* I was on the Swedish Messenger Plus! translation team for a few years.
* I translated ||board into Swedish... Wait... That's not good, is it?
* Translated most of SMW into Swedish. (Might release it if I ever feel like finishing it.)

Uhm... That's about it. :/

Edit 2:

Maybe I should also tell what "strange" characters we've got in Swedish.
"å", "ä", "ö", "Å", "Ä", "Ö" are REQUIRED
"é" is sometimes used in Swedish, but can, if necessary, be replaced with "e". (Looks less professional, though.)
"à" is pretty much never used, except in a pretty rare case involving prices. Unlikely to be used in Metroid...

Same here, it really depends on time. But I could translate it into German and I usually would be motivated to do this.

I'm up for a Finnish localization. I translated SNES9X Completely back a few months ago, and by that I mean every single text string in it

So yeah, I'm up for it.

Question: Will we have restricted string lengths, or will you handle repointing and all that?

What do you mean by strings..? Some text files or an actual file format for VB application translations?

Ooooh, now I get it. If my questions seems odd, it's because I thought "Zero Fission" was a hack. I guess I'm not very up-to-date on Metroid hacking.

I still want the job, though.

Edit:

Oh, and by the way. I'd like to request something. For short strings (like... just one or two words), please provide a comment describing the context of the string.

Likely a .RC resource file which contains string tables.
