Yes, everyone using the P-wing inside his castle will notice this. Another thing is to make Bowser's fire breath make vanish, this is also a known bug.
The easiest way to make Bowser's breath vanishing is going the way you described (equip a P-wing to make sure). Fly over the left wall, descend (don't touch the floor to start battle), fly up again in the "right" room you got, land on the floor and Bowser should spit air. You still hear the sound he makes, but there is nothing. Though it still is way cooler to fight him in a Hammer Suit, although it only takes a second or two ... |
