I have a problem with a few fullscreen games like Lyle in Cube Sector and La Mulana. It covers the entire bottom half of the screen in black. It makes the game unplayable. Please help.

First, check your video driver and Direct X for updates, and see if that helps.

Also, try restarting, and running the game in a different resolution.

(Would someone add the Computers/Programming forum again? )

I would also add, try to avoid running any apps which eat up a lot of power alongside it--that might be causing some errors or eating up memory.

Has this always happened on your computer, or did it start after you got it?

Tell me, are you running a nVidia setup on SLI?

Check by going to desktop -> properties -> advanced -> (I'm not sure where it is in here, check around for SLI options) -> find one about setting it to fun one video card for every other frame instead of one video card does half and half on each frame. Sorry if it's hard to follow, but I don't have SLI. Someone else who does might be able to find it.
