Im trying to make an ACMLM board using version 1.92 anyways and i'm having some trouble, im trying to host it on funpic.org but im not EXACTLY sure what to do, any help is appreciated |

Well, the first thing you can do is get the fuck away from funpic.org. They've recently started putting spyware on every last one of their hosted sites.
Or was that somewhere else? I forget things sometimes  ____________________ we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties |

All of the distributed versions of AcmlmBoard have significant security problems that can allow anyone to gain administrator access, log in as other users, or cause various other problems. If you don't understand how to set it up, you will certainly not be able to fix the numerous vulnerabilities. |

ok ill use 1.A2 then, (i have it also) anyway all that aside could you guys actually help with wat im trying to do (oh and honestly the board im making its a very niche audience and i doubht any1 would want to hack it  so any help? |

Acmlmboard 1.[AB]* are massively unstable, you probably shouldn't use them at all. 1.92 itself is very insecure, and there's no point in having even older versions. All in all, Acmlmboard is obsolete (and insecure) software that shouldn't be used anymore for production forums. The best option would really be going with different software, like phpBB or PunBB, instead; no real alternatives for a similar style yet, ||board should be released within a few months (probably at most three months), and I have no idea about board2 (you'd have to ask Acmlm or blackhole89 I suppose). |

Acmlm gave up on trying to manage a community.
And isn't ||board just ab1.latest with security patches and a minor redesign? ____________________ we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties |

mkay, er the problem is (im following a tutorial) Im supposed to upload al the files then run install.php but after ive uploaded it via ftp it wont let me access anything beyond seeing"acmlm board" written as a folder thing then an error comes up when i press it |
