METAL SLUG 6... god I don't know what happened, it was fine in the actual arcade, but I guess the sound wasn't up high enough, the game is just =\... I'm actually very tempted to return Metal Slug Anthology...

StarOcean: Til the end of time.
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time was nothing but filler.

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon took everything that was good about Mortal Kombat: Deception (Which really wasn't a whole lot) and removed it.

Oblivion is good but just lacks that "epic" feeling that Morrowind had. I'm not upset that I bought it but I was still disappointed in it.

Doom 3: Huge hype about how it was going to be fuckin' awesome and everything. Then it was released, and it sucked. Very little real action in the game, too dark too see anything, too easy (goes to the fact it has little action).

The original Doom and Doom II far outshine Doom 3.

You are a liar. Also, what's with people in the "oh god too dark i cant see" boat? You can adjust your brightness you know...

"Star Ocean: Till the End of Time was nothing but filler."

What do you even mean by this? It was an amazing game, except for the Matrix like plot twist at the end.

"Oblivion is good but just lacks that "epic" feeling that Morrowind had. I'm not upset that I bought it but I was still disappointed in it."

I guess, but at least combat was better. The level scaling was stupid though, but that can be fixed by OOM.

Long time with no posts, but here goes.

Somehow, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess didn't hit me. No I am not talking about the gameplay and bosses resembling too much the N64 games but the ending.

I didn't like it at all.

Also, Burning Crusade, it ruined good old 40-man shouting OLOLOLOL in Vent while wiping on some random trash pull.

Good old days.

Twilight Princess I think is the best Zelda game. I'm pretty harsh when I rate a game. Like Windwaker; it was okay, but not the best, especially with the hype it had. Majora's mask was not great, it was boring and I just can't seem to get into it. OoT is legendary, TP is legendary for this console generation, both are great.

Yoshi's story is okay if you're a fanboy (that's me...... ) Yoshi's Island DS wasn't one to grab me.

LoZ Phantom Hourglass was boring to me.

LoZ Minish Cap was okay, but too short

Super smash bros. Melee is the WORST game I've ever played....... JUST KIDDING JUST KIDDING JUST KIDDING!!!!!!

*Flinches for oncoming projectiles* No j/k SSBM was awesome. I hope brawl kicks butt!!!

NFSU2: Good, NFSMW: Great, NFSCarbon: Nasty Crap!! (Jim Gaffagan impression LOL) Hated carbon.... I sold it within a couple weeks.

3d Sonic games just aren't that great, and are too repetitive...

Eh, I'm gonna have to agree with TP being disappointing.

It was a furry version of OoT with better controls. At least Windwaker and Majora's Mask (Both of which IMO are better than OoT) were different to the standard Zelda formula for the most part.

Second on my list is the various Guitar Hero titles. People seem to rave on about them, but I just can't get into them at all. :/

hmm, lots of hate. I liked Majoras Mask, and I liked Wind Waker although it really ticked me off at times.

I liked Twilight Princess, but wait, I do agree with you guys but I'm going to explain it.

the problem with TP for me was that there wasn't enough exploration, there weren't enough sidequests, and there wasn't enough useless world that was just there to experience like past zelda games where it just feels big and alive. I figured with such a long lifecycle it just would have been longer.

I loved the way it was, but the zora place wasn't big enough, where was the ranch, castle town was cool, but you didn't get to go into any houses or hardly do anything or interact with anyone.

your initial village is pointless to return to, they don't let you wrestle Gorons again, and lots of stuff.

The bosses didn't take enough hits. I liked the story and style of this game but it needed to be longer, and even more than being longer it needed tons more sub and side quests and things to flesh it out and make if feel bigger and have more characters in it. Hyrule Field was desolate

NSMB was a heck of a lot of fun, I don't get it, it's like Super Mario Bros 1 again, it was tight.

you guys prolly don't like Yoshi's Island DS either do ya?.

Super Mario World and Twilight Princess disappointing? What the FUCK?

I'll agree with knuck about Chrono Cross being disappointing, though.

Edit: Crap. I didn't notice that the last post in here was on the 19th of November. My bad.

Twilight Princess had vast fields, although I have to admit I would have preferred it to be somewhat bigger. As long it's not too big like the seas of Wind Waker.

I actually enjoyed the game. Only criticism was that some moves that involves moving the nunchuck was usually... tricky to perform right.

That's your only complaint? My complaint is that it's too linear, there are barely any side quests, and even things like the goron wrestling you can only do that one time and never again WTF? I just wanted a lot of more non story content, or side stroy content.

I dunno. Overly linear games usually don't bother me too much. And this is from someone who play open-ended games like Simcity or The sims much.

To tell you the truth, I still haven't finished TP. What really bothered me was that you rarely used the items outside of their dungeons. You couldn't ride around Hyrule Field with the spinner easily, since it loses it's power, you couldn't use the Dominion Rod outside of dungeons IIRC, and the bosses were too easy.

Startopics 1[nes] :
God I hate controlls, also some puzles are annoying and just too hard, but story was pretty good, but playing US version Pal/european nes, so game runs LOT slower for some reason, but at last it makes whole game much easier to complete

Posted by CKY-2K
StarTropics 2 is not bad, the gameplay is fucking awesome but the story just sucks.

I agree, but still I liked it more than st1, nintendo should make startropics 3, and star fox wii...

Supaplex [amiga] :
music is way better than on m$-dos version, but what happend to sound fx? Like when eating that buble/wathever is called

Super mario 64 [N64] :
I so hate this game, it just gets boring, collecting stars idea get old after 20stars, also why the fuck only 15levels? I never cared about gfx, but why trees using some fucking sprites? Like they are always facing to you, looks annoying.
Also, for werid reason, I liked this game more when playing on emulator, thats maybe because PAL N64 games/system works much slower than non pal versions :\ , but playing on dualshit2 controller is pain, because I hate ps2 controller analog sticks, they are aful, at last N64 stick fells much better IMO, but it only works good for week, then it is same thing to buy new controller.
