1596. Hewlett-Packard. Terrible hardware, mediocre software. Actually they've made big improvements in the past few years, hardware-wise, but it's still not great.

1597. Lexmark. Good hardware, absolutely horrific software. 400MB for a printer driver that installs a busload of unnecessary programs to do what's already built into XP without asking, and fucks up/takes over the system.

1598. Visual C++. I don't know where people get the idea that this is actually C++, because with all the VC-only libraries and headers and changes to the syntax and auto-generated code, you can pretty much forget about compiling it with anything else IME.

1599. Most free image/generic file hosting. Rapidshare is just garbage, Imageshack likes to randomly remove images and makes every damn image a link to their site with "click here for free hosting blah blah" plastered all over the place, Photobucket removes images after a while and is ugly. There's an even worse image host I can't remember, that replaces the image with an ad the first time you view it.

1609. People that bid $3,000 or more on something in The Price is Right. [one person apparently had bid $10,000 at one point some time ago (strange wording)]

(meant italics on The Price is Right. Not a strike-through)

Once, someone gave a price of like $2000 on something (a toy guitar, I believe) in Cliff Hangers. Prizes in Cliff Hangers are rarely above like $50.

1612. Realizing I didn't give the proper 30-day notice before leaving my apartment and having to fork over $850, negating several months' worth of savings on rent I'd get by moving.
