I figured somebody should start a thread like that...

Since school has started again for many board2ers, what does your timetable for this term/year/whatever look like? I'll start off by posting mine:

Mine is not very consistent. Oh well, at least I don't have a job at the same time or it would be a problem.

My timetable looks like nothing. I go to an online school where there are no real set schedules.

So now you guys get to attack me for having a better school.

I actually had one course where most of it were online.

And some of the courses were done online. However those courses seemed crap for the most part... Honestly, Visual basic programming? Visual basic is dead, even Microsoft itself is it in favour of C#. :/

I'm not going to make a table for my schedule, but I'm currently taking western history from 1648, abnormal psychology, adv composition and critical thinking, physical anthropology, and world humanities. I took classes over the summer and I'm already tired of this. I need to submit applications next month for transferring schools, so I'm just trying to get general ed classes out of the way as fast as possible.

This actually explains a lot about your behavior, pretty interesting.

Touché, I didn't think of that thread (though I had a vague feeling of somebody having done this before not too long ago, I successfully suppressed it before posting). Well, its initial objective could be seen as slightly differring from this one, so...

The classes you take look fairly interesting anyway... I'd gladly trade some of mine for some of those...

Whenever these threads pop up it seems like everyone in college is taking a bunch of math/computer science courses, which was actually the path I was going down until I recently switched my major to psychology. I'm definitely enjoying school more, so if you want to get a useless degree then this is a path to consider~!

I'm thinking about doing grad school if that means anything

edit - I typed this before dr_death's post showed up to prove me wrong so (middle finger)

Mon / Wed 10am - 5:30 pm = school
Friday = 10am-11am school
(The commute takes about 45 minutes both ways)

24-28 hours of my free time every week = work

Yeah, I'm pretty busy.

I was in computer science, then I switched to psych, then I switched to philosophy.

My general career advice is get a degree no matter how useless it is. Even if you are working in something completely outside of your major, the simple fact that you have a college degree will open doors for you that you wouldn't be able to access otherwise.

It's simple, really. People are afraid of going into a liberal arts major. I'm taking economics though, so I don't know where that puts me. I've heard everyone hates economists but I don't know much more than that.

New schedule though.
Here.

Mostly core classes... I'm happy that I've only got one day where I have to be at class by 8AM.

What do you do between 12:00 and 2:30 on Tuesday, BooUrns?

That's quite the gap for nothing.

Hey Grey Mario, how come you're doing an online school? What's it like? What do you plan to do for college and such? Do you socialize with people much?

You can always find something to do with time. It's around lunchtime, which can take from 30 minutes to an hour, and then the rest of the time can be spent doing homework or being at the library (either studying or being online)
