Last view: 4502 days 		Well from most reports, pre-orders are going quite well in europe.

However, many of the games shops around here still have their "PS3 Pre-Order Now Limited Stock" signs up from about two weeks ago, so it's hard to know whether that's accurate. One of them even took the (slightly desperate) step of blocking off half their entrance with a manned table display about pre-ordering a PS3. That's something that I've never really seen before over here.

Personally, I wouldn't pay the 425 pounds (or 835 dollars!) for a console with no games.
Especially considering the fact that I could get an Xbox 360 with Viva Pinata, Gears of War, and Crackdown for 300.

Plus, the whole "remove the PS2 chips to make things cheaper, but don't pass on the savings to the customer" thing really annoys me.

Last view: 5481 days 		A little birdy told me that only 90 PS2 games or so work on the PS3 in Europe. This birdy happens to be a tester and no matter what, the idiots at the development division could not get the emulator to work.

That's why it was delayed in Europe in the first place.

You're so witty and clever and no one ever thought of that before!



Presently I have no interest. I can't think of one PS3 exclusive that I care about, honestly. I'm sure there are some that other people want (Final Fantasy springing to mind immediately), but I'm not liking newer FFs as much, and I've not even heard about any other exclusives Sony still has. At least, none that I can remember.

Well, sure, the main motivator for the P$3 was to make money, but you can't say that money wasn't a major motivating factor for the NE$ or the $NE$ (or the D$ for that matter)

I keep telling people that Sony is taking a loss at selling at the price that they are. Its mainly due to the blu-ray DVD player. Now, as for me, I really don't care about the DVD player, but most run around 1K if you do.

Just gonna wait and hopefully Metal Gear and Final Fantasy will stay on the Ps3 and they won't pull a Virtura Fighter, Unreal, and so on....

As it looks now, PS3 looks very uninteresting. If Wii dosen't fill my videogame needs, I probably would just get a X-box 360. And while I don't like Microsoft, their console division seems to know what they're doing.

If Dragon Quest IX does well on the DS, though, I wonder if Square Enix will move FF off of the console as well... That would be a big hit to Sony...
