Forget about the Halo 3 beta (because its not up yet), this game is amazing! Its like City of Heroes, meets GTA, meets...hmm..what else....? Anyway, the gist of it is that your a cop trying to clean up and rid three cities of their respected gangs. You get to run around, shoot, kick, blow up shit and so on, all the while leveling up your character and being able to jump high.

The game seems to be a bit short, but the online co-op makes up for it....well, maybe a little. Maybe they'll add downloaded content later on. It could use a few more cities.

This kind of game doesn't really catch my attention, but I watched my roomate play it and it looks very fun!

I like the fact that you level up and have the freedom to go pretty much anywhere!

Here's a bit of info on the game from XBox.com: Crackdown
From Realtime Worlds, Crackdown pushes the action-driving hybrid genre into the next generation with a rich and immersive 3-D playground. This M-rated game incorporates revolutionary co-op gameplay throughout the entire free-form campaign. Creating a volatile cocktail of judicial oppression, clean up the streets of a truly interactive world when Crackdown hits store shelves at an estimated retail price of $59.99.

Can you go inside all of the buildings? I've always wanted to see a game that would allow you to do that.

No, only outside roaming.

But still, I've been having fun with this.

How high can you level up?

Also, in the demo I watched, leveling up happened rather frequently. Is it like this in the game or is there more balance?

The levels go up to 4.

And the demo had "Advanced Skill Progression". It does take longer to do it in the real game, but not an inordinate amount of time by any means.

We need to pay co-op together....sober.....well, maybe sober.

I was playing online with one of the guys that works with me, and since he couldn't lift a car yet, I kept throwing cars at him and chasing him down just to kick him.

lol blank cell
I've played the demo of this, and I loved it. I'd probably get the full version if my parents would let me. How long does it take to beat the game?

I'm almost done with the game and I've been playing it for about a week or so.

Just finished it today with 440 gamerpoints. I'm 4 stars in everything but driving, which is 2 stars.
