LOVING the colour scheme. Cannot stress this enough.

Would like the font sizes a teeny bit larger though.

I'm old!

I told Billy to go get me my glasses, but he hasn't yet. Billy? Dangit, where has that kid gone...

I'd also suggest using "1.0em" style font sizes, as those adjust to the user's text size instead of hardcoded font sizes, but I'm not sure if that was used here.

It also has a tendency to shrink my Times New Roman unless I attempt to force it to be larger.

The font is small?

It's quite readable for me. Wait, you might want to post some screenshot of it as it might... be weird on other systems.

Oh heh, your font appears as small on my computer. Infact everything appears the same. And it's a bit too small in your layout anyway. :/

Considering some people use 1280x1024 (I use 1024x768), I could see why it'd be bothersome.

I know in IE, "font-size: ##px" makes the font locked to that size, but in firefox, you can change your font size, and the "font-size: ##px" sizes will be changed as well.

I like this font size where it is as well... most places have too large fonts.

I like this font size, too, but the "NEW" images are so tiny.

I run at 1280x1024 and I'm fine with the font, I can understand why it might irritate some people though.

I can always add some scheme that has a larger font, or even better change them to "em" terms so things like IE's "Font Size" feature work right.

That might be preferrable...

I changed the font sizes to their equivalent values in em units for now, but I guess a little bigger (like +1px) wouldn't hurt ... I made the board layout back when I was still on 800x600 most of the time, after all

It's not too bad on my Work monitor (1280x1024) but I find it quite difficult on my Home monitor (1680x1050). No I will not change either resolution.

Perhaps there could be an option in one's profile to make font sizes larger, so that people using larger resolution will be okay?

Ctrl + or -

...

Though, that's definitely not a real alternative, but meh.

Real alternative:

Change the base font to 62.5% (equivalent to 10px but resizes in IE better) and then adjust the rest by em values accordingly.

Fix the fonts so that on alternate operating systems it can substitute effectively for Verdana, ie Genova in Mac OS X, and a generic "sans-serif" family modifier so that Linux or whatever picks a suitable font too.

Avoid using fonts smaller than 1em where possible

Fonts definitely look tiny, while they're in large, empty boxes (when messages are short, that is)... So it's not like that saves space or anything.
