I saw this last night and am quite surprised that there is no thread for this yet.(#1 at the North American box office this weekend!) As a hardcore(nerdcore?) Simpsons fan, with a much greater preference for the classic episodes, I have to say that this movie does not disappoint. The humor is not quite like the new or old episodes but really delivers. It's hard to say anything about it without spoiling anything. The length (80 or 90 minutes?) is very appropriate as well. The only thing I didn't like was people repeating lines after they were said.

After all, you know what they say; you can pick your nose but you can't pick your audience.

Saw it yesterday.

First movie in awhile that actually made me laugh, several times in row. The pace was kinda fast too. I might go and watch it again.

Seems like everyone I talked to got annoying audience as well. There were some annoying kids around. :/

Simpsons movie was win. It was about twenty years in the making, and now it's here.

I've been a little out of it lately, but this made me laugh. Seriously.

I second the 'repeating lines' thing. Or, when the entire theater recited "Spider Pig" as it was happening. That was a definite fail.

Definitely one of the funniest movies I had seen in a long time. It was a perfect movie adaptation of a TV series. I guess I was lucky. I didn't have an annoying audience.

I saw it it the day it opened, so thankfully no one in the audience knew the lines yet. As for the movie, it was good, but probably could've been better. There were a lot of very funny parts, but it seemed to focus on Homer a little too much.

Also, I know the "Marge gets fed up with Homer" plot line had been use at least 4 or 5 times in the series.

I finally got to see this myself today, and I must say it was quite good. I wasn't expecting that much from the movie, just the basic Simpson's plot line and humor. There was more than that to the movie. I can't say it was the best movie I've seen this summer, but it was still pretty damn good.

Just saw the movie today as well. This is one of the few movies that made me laugh!!! (not including me laughing because the audience did) The joke that made me laugh was (warning spoilers ahead)

when Bart drew on the wanted poster of themselves and the people he drew were other real people and they got arrested. (this happened just as they went to the 49th state.

(end spoilers) This was one of the best movies I ever saw. The best part was no annoying audience!

Yeah, I coincidentally noticed that one day it was 1337 days since my last post here. On that day, I celebrated by finally logging on so that the time between my last post and my last login would be (approximately) 1337 days. That said, this board is a bit too inactive for my tastes, to be honest. I can still be found, however, on SMWCentral.
