Does anyone here play Pikmin? I do. I completed Pikmin 1 many times, while I only finished Pikmin 2 once...

Tell me if there's another topic on this subject.

I don't think I ever finished either, but I had rented the first when it came out: loved it. When the second came out during an August I bought it the first day. I was trying to find all the parts or something to gain Louie last I knew >.>

I liked the first more though. I thought it felt more original, not in that it was the first one or the things it explored, but in the simple use of colors. Primary colors were everywhere--I felt like the second was saturated from what it was. I did enjoy going through past levels though with a new look/areas. That's always a little quirk I've loved.

I loved Pikmin when it was first released. One of the very few good Gamecube games to pick up early in its life.

think the single player may have been more clever and original in Pikmin 1, but Pikmin 2 had multiplayer which was a riot at my household. I beleive we may have even had a Pikmin tournament at one time.

Cool, a Pikmin topic.

About that, I just finished both of them recently, for fun. I followed the 9-day and 8-day challenge guides respectively, but still took more time since I haven't played for a while. Oh, and am I the only one who made all the Red Pikmin Flowers on the first day in both games? No one I know is patient enough to do it.

The Challenge Mode was also fun (I still haven't gotten all puple flowers yet) and it's cool to go back to the old levels in Pikmin 2. Too bad Pikmin 2 was easier, even though it was longer.

I never actually tried versus mode, but that's because the only opponent is my little brother, who never thinks when he plays. There's also my cousin, but he rarely visits.

I love Pikmin. Pikmin 2 had a few tricky parts as I can remember, such as the treasure requiring 100 purple Pikmins... which was just a pain to collect. Hmm, I hadn't touched either game since I finished them though. I guess I should play through them soon...
