MY ISP (Comcast, Detroit area) is pretty lousy. I get kicked off AIM constantly, sometimes once every few minutes. The DNS is terrible, I'll get "Server not found" a lot even on sites where I was just on another page five seconds ago.

But hey, at least it's not dialup (which I had until late 2006).

Mine isn't bad. It'll disc me like once a month for half an hour, but it's not bad all in all.

Same here.
Comcast is down way to often.

I have Time Warner for my ISP, it's been very reliable for me. It has only disconnected me maybe once a month at most.

We have Cox (ha ha...) here, and they're really nice. The first few times it was always going out, but it was due to crappy wiring in our house... we moved it and it worked fine.

They tend to have some dowtnime every now and then, but it's usually at 3:00 AM (unfortunately, when I'm actually doing things ) but it doesn't last long, minus the time it was several hours in a row...

My ISP is Roadrunner. I don't have that many problems with them. My only complaint is when you call someone to come to your to fix the internet, they usually take forever to do that. Once, we had to wait almost a week until they finally showed up to fix the internet back in August.

Verizon DSL. I've got no problems with it except for the net dying when the phone rings.

Let's see... my ISP is my neighbors' wi-fi. I sometimes have to place my laptop in different positions to be able to connect, and sometimes I can't connect at all. Luckily they haven't changed the default password on their router so I can go in and set up port forwarding and stuff. I hope they don't decide to password-protect their network anytime soon, because then it's back to dialup for me. That's what we have at my house.

My ISP at home is Comcast, and I barely ever have problems with it. If I do, they're far between. When it's working, it's great.

I think it's weird how I never have problems with it, and tons of people have lots of problems with it.

26.4kbps dial-up and no better. Good 'ol Benton. Seriously, they can't even get cable internet out here. This is freaking torrrcha.

Actually, they are working on 6Mbps lines out here with IPTV. At least it's trying to be as good as ADSL2 (which, btw, happened to go in right after I moved out from where I was...hah!).

I have Comcast, no complaints but their comercials are a bit much, especially since I already subscribed to their damn cable service ;x but yeah, like Drag said, very few problems.

I'm at a university, we got top of the line access, minus the 500 MB upload quota...

That's about all.

Yeah, COX is good in my area. I would go on a rantabout how great they are but I'm posting from the Wii here. Guess I'll do it tommorrow.

I use a local ISP. Unfortunately, for the price ($49.99, IIRC), it's 1.5mbits down/512kbits up.

Road Runner over here too. It's pretty much a Time Warner service I think. It's not too bad - 56Mbps - but sometimes we stop getting internet connectivity for some reason. Also, I think it's annoying that people like Insight and Time Warner advertise their own service ON their own service. If we're already using it, why advertise it more?

6000k AT&T DSL.

It rocks. Seriously. Can't have better in the area without buying a T1 line, so far as I know.

<!--stupid center and width hack-->
My ISP is great, and I am very much in love with them.

I've had bad ISP's before, so this good ISP make me very very happy.

I don't mind my ISP (Adelphia).

I hate wireless networks. They cause almost all of my disconnections.
