Are the animated desktops worth the CPU power they consume on Vista? Just wondering if the animation is pretty smooth or choppy (on a fairly fresh install of the OS, I guess, since it'll always get choppy at some point if you put enough garbage on your drives).
Here I am, stuck using 2000 :/. |

Well, that bites, ten years ago means I'd even have been able to have one  . However, I do see the fact that it's not going to be much use if there are always too many windows open, or if one of them is maximized all the time (the latter is my case). |

I really need to watch more of that particular subseries, it got hyped down enough that I was discouraged from viewing it. |

Star Trek: Enterprise sucked... though to be honest, Voyager sucked more
the desktop particularly is about the new movie coming out in a year. Based on (and it's a prequel to) the original Star Trek (which kicks ass). |
