I figure if a "post your tray" thread is fine, then so is this. Basically, just how much stuff do you cram into your My Documents folder (or equivalent, if you don't use windows), and how much space does it take up? For me, the answer to both of those is "way too much".

(To put that into perspective, this one folder takes up over a quarter of the space on my hard drive! )
Also, router security or somesuch won't let me view files on my own site without using localhost, so please, yell at me if the link doesn't work.

I'm honestly surprised that my documents is already that big.
*checks*
Oh, there was this download folder I forgot about. ._. Better clean it up later.

My Win XP equilant of home however is almost 100 GB. >> I blame on the fact that I put all my downloads on the desktop.

Very weird, the first time I did screen capture with an image width of 1313px

Anyways, rectified. I'm still wondering where the rest of the space came from...

Hmm, neotransotaku.... Ta-kitty gotta be the strangest name I heard on a partition.

Actually, why so many partitions? >> The whole drive is more likely to crash than the filesystem. :/

Mine varies a lot over time. This time it's on another drive instead of the main system one. The current My Documents is big because downloaded PS2 ISOs for use in HDLoader are there, that gets around my console not being set up to read burned games.

I'm actually shocked at the size of it, but then again, that just shows how much stuff gets preloaded by WinXP into that folder, because I don't touch that. I've got everything in custom named folders, because I like to order my installs into what I use them for, i.e. networking, gaming, media, bootups, artwork, etc.

Check your game saves. Most modern games puts their savegames into the my documents folder.

The my documents folder on a barely used Win XP admin account here is only around 10 MB. :/

(Hover over numbers for details)

"My Documents"?

1.24 GB, of which 1.23 GB is downloaded torrents.

My documents?

"My Documents" (1.24 GB)
+
"Desktop" (383 MB)
+
D:\ (4.47/4.49 GB)

EQUALS

6.08 (6.11) GB!!!
That's 6,541,849,999 bytes! (6,565,031,798 bytes on the disks.)

...I envy you, neotransotaku.

So what Microsoft genius came up with the name "Documents and Settings" instead of using something simple like "Users"?
