It depends on the bank that the check is made from and ultimately deposited into. Policy about international checks vary from bank to bank. Usually, things are easier if the check is made and deposited into the same bank.
My advice is to ask the other person what his bank is and find information from there. Money is money so I don't think they will void the check, but I'm sure added costs will be applied because of currency conversion and stuff. |

Thanks for the answer. I lucked out and got an international money order at a grocery store though (go figure). So I'm good to go. |
