I check BPAY Biller Codes at least three times before paying a bill in my Internet Banking.

I check a lot of things like that repeatedly. Particularly numbers or codes, I do not trust myself to get it right.

But I'm not so bad. Mum insists on using particular coloured clothespegs when she hangs out the washing. You have to use the blue ones first, then the white ones, then the red ones....

I crack my knuckles. I also have a terrible habit that I've been trying to kick for over half my life. I rip the skin off my fingers.

I bite my fingers when I'm in deep thought...

I crack my knuckles a lot, too.

I always clear my clip board as soon as I'm done using something I've copied by typing Ω and copying that.

When I walk down a path or over tile, I purposely step on the cracks, and I usually try to do it with my left foot, only.

I wash my hands a lot, but not to the extent of getting out of my seat and washing my hands at regular intervals. However, if I kill a bug and flush it down the toiled, I'll probably wash my hands, realize I need to take a piss, take that piss, and then wash my hands again. :\

I open my hacking notes folder and read stuff that I already have ingrained in my memory...I guess I have an aesthetic appreciation for sexy data?

I keep instant messaging windows empty because I hate looking at the typos my friends and I make.

I regularly return to Google, my home page, and clear my private data. Even when I'm not looking at porn.

I clear my private data before closing Firefox, even though it is set to do so automatically upon closing.

I empty my recycle bin as soon as I delete things.

I wipe my face on my shirt a lot because I don't like touching my face directly, and it regularly feels as though I have a layer of sweat that needs removing. I also don't like brushing my hair into a comfortable position with my hands, because my hair is a tad greasy (wouldn't know by looking at it). :\

I open instant messaging windows and say things to random people when I feel like I have something to share, even if the person who would understand what I'm talking about is offline.

I say I a lot.

I begin sentences with I even when I don't need to, and only occasionally do I revise the sentence to make more sense, rather than modifying what I'm trying to say to fit my egotistic tendency.

I...am tired of listing things, ugh

"Obsessive Compulsive Disorder" is synonym for "I feel insecure with my habits and I want people to look at me because I use pseudo-scentific jargon", or something like that...

Although most of them are benign, some can be bad.

So do I, even if I'm not alone. Keep it that way, it means you are actually thinking!

Most of these habits are most likely a way to express (read: take off) some stress. It's easy to understand if you look at the average environment we have to dive into every day (for most people). Stressors are omnipresent, but most people don't think this problem should be addressed, which is strange...

Either that or good ol' plain insecurity, which is also common place, but noone ever realizes why, which is also strange...

When I'm in deep thoughts, I tend to walk back and forth frenetically, and my speed is directly proportional to how I strain myself, sometimes I'm thinking so hard I start running...

-I like everything to be symmetrical.

-I like to crack my knuckles and toes.

-I think out loud alot, which leads people to think I talk to myself.

-Many times in video games, once I find what I consider to be the best path in a level, I will always follow that path from then on when I play it.

-I shift+delete almost everything, which sometimes is bad when I don't realize what I select to delete.

-Other things too that I don't notice.
