Posted by TaralePosted by Trax It is sadly true that most people eat the unhealthy cheap way instead of a healthier, more expensive way, but sometimes it can't be helped. As to the horrors of Soy, this is disturbing. One of the foods typically thought of as very healthy is actually very bad for you, it sucks when people somehow manage to distort studies that much. Atleast I typically don't eat soy much. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Like a cool picture, my 8-bit theatre character test result, my MS and RO characters... Pilsbury Toaster Scramblers! Two of 'em!
Bacon variety, though. I usually prefer Southwestern, but I didn't get to buy these ones. The problem, is that these food are REALLY REALLY bad for you! Someday, they WILL kill me... ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

Actually, the human genetics did not change enough in the last 10,000 years to justify the quantity of grains we produce and eat everyday. Our organism is still made to live on meat and fruits. But enter agriculture, and now we can make fields of cereals with little effort. Agriculture favored sedentarity, so it means less exercice, yet most of us can still eat anytime. It's not as if food shortage could spring right out the corner. At least, not in what we call "Occident". So if you have the choice between a steak and a bagel, take the steak, your body is designed for it...
The problem is, you may be eating some without knowing it, and that's disturbing. Vaccination was distorted pretty much the same way, with marketing trends and twisted studies. Virtually everyone agree to say that vaccination is good for us, but it's actually the very opposite: it's dangerous and is at least partially responsible for many of today's illnesses, ranging from allergies, autism (despite the newpapers saying the contrary), brain-related disorders and some forms of cancers... |

I don't THINK it's a bump, only 3 day difference... anyway...
I'm pretty sure most people will probably just look at the recipe, say "wow that looks good mmm" and not attempt anything, but I'm posting this clam chowder recipe because it is made of awesome and win. I seriously recommend this recipe to anyone who's bored, or interested in cooking something worthwhile. Yum! I had 3 big bowls and this small one today of the stuff. I made a batch today, I can't think of any recipes I like better. At all. From the Cape May Fare cookbook, a gift to my mom from her parents one time. 2-3 hours preparation. The notes on the side are just because I have a hard time with converting pints, quarts, cups, ounces, etc., and the clams at the store are sold in 6.5 oz. cans. One free internet for Deborah Guilloz. |
