I always liked the idea of leaving trashed threads open for further discussion/mockery, as long as it's not blatant spam, flame wars, etc.

But yes, it is possible. They can be stickied too.

Hmm. I suppose bothering to post in a lot of the Landfilled threads would qualify as an infraction of the rules in some way, anyway.

(Either spamming or flaming typically. Both are bad, last I checked.)

But do we really need bug zappers? They only lead to people being obnoxious, anyway, and then complaining about getting in trouble for being dumb.
