I want to input my guitar, but when I use the distortion thing, shit jumps into the audio channel and creates feedback, which is BS.

How can I reduce this, also, what the hell is AUX channel for?

AUX = Auxilary input, I believe it's a connector on the soundcard itself.

For the distortion, do you have any way of reducing the volume, etc? Also, are you using the Microphone in or Line in? Microphone In usually amplifies the input audio since Mics are generally unpowered, while Line In does not amplify it.

Each one creates feedback, I used both, they all feedback my wave out mix channel for some reason too.

As for AUX, I have the channel but I don't know where the input is.

the AUX input is inside your computer. As well, if you have Wave Out Mix turned on, turn it off. that'd be your problem right there. Wave out mix takes what would normally go to your speakers and sends it back as input, which could easily cause feedback.

It's not on, but it records shit that's being played on my output for somereason.

I'm using an old soundmax driver if that helps.
I'm trying to look for updates but I can't find any.
