Yeah.
I've got an ordinary PPC iBook G4 with an 933 MHz processor, and I recently remembered an application that goes under the name Darwine. Its minimum 'PPC Build' system requirements were Mac OS X 10.4.9, but I had 10.3.9, so I updated my Operating System to the newer one. Now I got WineHelper running, but whenever I attempt to run an application I get a load of error messages in the X11 window, and apparently I can't get any win32 application running, not even the sample applications included with the Darwine package. Has anyone around here with a PPC Mac gotten Darwine running? Thanks in advance ____________________ |

I do have a PPC, but for an unknown reason, I stick with Panther. I did use Virtual PC in the past, and that's it. So, no, I'm afraid I can't be of any help. But I'm sure you can find a few mega nerds out there on IRC...
Try : irc.freenode.net, #mac channel, something like that... |
