I didn't find the 4D cube that confusing (however the 5D was...). I was able to solve a few of the simple examples, but part of me want to finish the 3D variant. I used to have a Rubiks cube as a kid somewhere. Wonder where it is.

Also the program do project 4D, but keep the sides separated so it's possible to see in a 3D space (otherwise some parts of the cube would be impossible to see from a 3D space ). This program uses same projection kinda, but with a regular Rubiks cube. Might make it easier to understand the 4D one.

That reminds me to put the 4D and 5D cube programs.

You need .NET 2.0 Runtime to work the 5D one though.

So I fired up the 4d cube and almost immediately gave up because I couldn't figure out how to turn the damn thing the right way.

xD

You don't peel the stickers off you nut, you break the cube appart and reassemble it.

Well, sure. Give yourself a false sense of intelligence. Or, you could stop being a pussy and actually learn how things work. It's really good brain conditioning. I used it as an interview tool one time, for my sales job, and I got it!
