I ask mostly because lately, I've been going to be semirandomly and waking up at really odd times Like tonight, I went to bed at 7 and woke up at about 13... my sleep schedule is really broken.

(and it shows, I've been really tired lately )

My cycle is basically screwed up because I forget to do homework and I am up past 12 doing it .

I also get up at random times, however I just turn over and fall back asleep.

My normal sleep schedule is 4:00AM until anywhere from 10:00AM through 1:00PM.

Of course, this is a habit of having worked 2nd shift for so long...

It takes me at least one hour of lying in bed to get to sleep, usually longer... though, once I'm asleep, I find it difficult to wake up... (I slept through roughly an hour of my alarm this morning...)

I've been trying to keep a stable schedule, but since I have this week off, I've pretty much gone to bed and woken up whenever... Tonight, I think, I crashed at around 3AM, and woke up at around 1:30PM. I was waking up earlier at the start of the week, but I guess I'm starting to get used to the random schedule. Maybe I should go to bed early tonight to fix that...

I honestly can't remember the last time I've gone to bed before 1. My actual sleep schedule is a little sporadic, some days I can take 10 hours and still feel a little dozy and others I can get 6 hours and wake up fully charged.

It takes me between a few minutes and a very, very long hour to as well (usually less)... but once I'm asleep I've been known to not only sleep through my alarm so long that my mom comes in to shut the damn thing off

Even worse is that I've been known to literally become a zombie... they'll come in and tell me something, I'll somehow respond "mmhmm" or "kay" or wahtever, and I'll wake up hours later with no memory of it ever occuring (and usually in enough trouble because I didn't do it )

My schedule is almost always screwed up.. I'll pretty much just pass out whenever I feel tired, and hell if I know when I'll be back up. Sometimes I can pull off a normal sleep cycle, but.. it always gets screwed up again somehow.. not that it matters at the moment though, my daily schedule is flexible enough that I could get away with the weirdest things.

Im a sleeping rock...

Who gets to sleep, and then never wants to get up.

But I am fairly regular. In bed before 12:00, and (depending on the day) up at 6:00/9:00/11:00AM

It takes me over an hour to get to sleep usually. I'm under pressure at the moment as it's my final year at university and will be soon looking for a job. If Chad didn't have to get up early in the morning, about this time of the school year I'd be staying up 'till 3am in the morning to force sleep to kick in.

I love sleeping, I could sleep for England... But only in the mornings. I'm rubbish at nodding off before midnight.

I only go to sleep because if I don't my dad cuts out my internet. =/ If it weren't for that control I probably would end up in my usual nocturnal mode of 7 PM to maybe noon the next day for being awake, and sleeping the rest of the time. I get pretty disoriented when that happens though and even still I can't seem to keep my days straight.

Never remain nocturnal for more than a month. >.<

Mine is like I go through a huge timezone shift every week-end ... get up at 6:30 AM every weekday, but easily around 2:00-3:00 PM otherwise

I even went to bed around 10:45 AM once, last month, then one time I tried going early on Sunday (only up for 6 hours) and woke up before 3:00 AM

Same thing here. I actually had been getting up at 4:45 AM so I could get to my highschool swim practice (thank God it's over.) I got used to waking up early so when swim ended, I just adjusted my alarm to 6:00 AM so I have time to do stuff in the morning (homework, acmlm's, etc.)

I usually go to bed around 3am. But then I´m so tired in the morning that I can sleep until late afternoon. Latest I got up was around 6pm.

My sleep pattern is pretty bad.

I don't follow a set pattern, I just try to make sure i'm awake during lectures and labs, and then sleep when I feel like it otherwise.

I usually head off to bed early during the week to atleast give myself 7-8 hours of a healthy rest.

That doesn't work because most of the time it takes 1 hour or 2 of just laying in bed to fall asleep.

Lately I have been waking up before the alarm sounds. It isn't bad, maybe 20 to 10 minutes before it rings but still it's annoying.

During the weekends I just go to bed whenever, but now that my body has adjusted to the week hours, I'm tired earlier.

I broke this cycle when the board drama happened and I lost track of time. Went to bed at 5 am

Well, I *try* to sleep well, but my roommate just makes it impossible for that to happen. He likes getting up really ass early. See, on my room application, I put down that I like staying up late, and I don't like waking up early. He put that he doesn't like staying up late, and that he does like waking up early, and SOMEHOW we got matched. I've been going to bed a very consistant 3 AM every night, and waking up to my alarm clock at 9:15 (if I have class), or at around 12 PM.

Today was a day where I don't have any morning classes, and thus I could sleep in. However... you guys know how my roommate is, right? I used to complain about him a lot in IRC. My roommate is a living, breathing furby. I swear he has aspbergers... he has a LOT of the traits an aspbergers person would have, but he hasn't been tested or anything. He was homeschooled his whole life, and he didn't really go out often, since the people in the neighborhood were "jerks" apparently. This year at college is probably the most time he's ever spent with other people. He's sheltered, lacks common sense, repeats EVERYTHING he hears, randomly throughout the day, for no reason at all, INCLUDING songs, or song fragments. He heard the Mona Pizza song, but he likes singing fragments of the Japanese version (even though he mispronounces EVERYTHING).

The song he's most obsessed with is from Wario Ware Smooth Moves. It's the song that plays in between microgames on 9-volt's stage. (G--D--F---A-G-F-G-G-BC-D--------) He has an extremely limited vocal range, so he can only sing maybe an octave and a half to two octaves. He's COMPLETELY tone-deaf, and cannot sing at ALL. It's not that he can't get the key right, but he doesn't know where the notes are, relative to each other. He just knows whether the next note is "lower" or "higher", and then just raises or lowers his voice random amounts.

So anyway, this morning, I was trying to sleep, since I didn't have to wake up until around 12 AM. He was doing *something* related to his classes, and he kept singing that small part of the 9-volt song. EVERY TIME HE DID, it woke me up. So basically, I was constantly bouncing between awake and asleep, so my memory consists of just a straight line of 9-volt song this morning. I think I counted around 30. I can't tell him to shut up... it'll just shut him up for a while, and then he'll get right back at it. He has a *VERY* annoying sounding voice, coupled with that inability to sing... I'm really angry about this, because I try to be quiet at night when he's asleep, but when it's morning and I'm asleep, he doesn't mind me and he slams the door 20 times going in and out of our room, one time even watched this EXTREMELY OBNOXIOUS JAPANESE SAILOR MOON thingy... like 10 episodes of it! And he wouldn't turn it down. He'll "whisper" random shit, and like today, he'll sing some TINY fragment of any song (for example, he'll sing "leaves others in the duuuuust" from Mona Pizza. That's it. Just that small TINY fragment of that song)

I can't function when I've been woken up from sleep... I can't tell him to turn it down or do anything. I can only just lay there annoyed. And then he says *I'M* loud at night, where I very lightly close the door, holding the knob so it doesn't click loudly, I lightly step around... ARGH. My roommate really makes me miserable, guys. Be thanking EVERYTHING in the world that you don't have to live with him.

So yeah, that's basically been every day this year. Sleeping just doesn't work. If it's not HIM waking me up, it's something else, like YESTERDAY, they were POUNDING and HAMMERING and SLAMMING on the outside door (which is just on the other side of the wall that my bed's against), to add some stupid fucking card reader that doesn't even work yet. Why 7 in the morning?

...did I mention I hate people?

I'm so glad that I don't have a room-mate.

I do so much awkard stuff that people wouldn't stand living in the same apartment as me. Such as me not having defined sleeping patterns.

I do my best to get to bed at 2300 or 0000, but I rarely ever get to do that. I'm usually asleep at 0400 or 0500. I generally wake up, on good days at 1300 or 1400. On bad days at 0900 or 1000 in order to get to class.
