Bleh, last night's ep. was nothing special, except that Jack got it on with a native woman, and we find out about his tatoos.
@Danielle: In the other TV thread, what I meant about Lost going downhill was that the awesome mystery from season 1 is going away. The whispers are explained, the black smoke only gets 1 debut in 9 eps. so far. Next week, I can't wait until they find the old hippie van in the jungle. My interest in this show has been in a constant decline, and last nights episode nearly threw it off the cliff.
Hopefully next weeks episode will be better, and I mean a LOT better. |

Same, and yeah, good point.
I mean, Hurley = Instant win.
I don't know, I guess I just don't like episodes where they seem to focus on one character the entire time. Last nights was definitely 80% all about Jack. I don't know, this season is just weird. |

Posted by timdevril50755 Yep. The reason we're growing tired of it, is because we're losing the allure of the island. I mean the old bread and butter of the show was survival, getting attacked, adventuring... Now, it seems like the writer's are falling over themselves trying to tell us stuff. Not good news. |

The whole "Others" idea and stuff is a complete mess if you ask me, and definitely slammed the hammer down on the coolness about the island. |

Yeah, agreed. They were supposed to be this savage, nomadic clan that ravages the island....and they just what? Some kind of freak society that observes anyone that crashlands on the island... |

The implosionsof the hatch also took some of my interest away. I just hope they find that guy they saw on the TV in the Pearl soon. I care more about the big island then the island with the Hydra on it. |

Yay! Hurley + Sawyer ftw!
Lot's of movie references in "Tricia Tanaka is Dead" along with bad CG explosions and meteors! This episode brought back the humour in the show, as well as some of my faith in it. No Jack, no Others, just the island and the Losties, just like back in Season 1. ____________________ D: Can't think of anything original.... |

Not much really happened last episode except for the car and Kate heading off to find that lady which we now know is Ben's Wife. I have to say that the most interesting part of the episode was the coming for next week. I want to see whats up with that guy they saw on a T.V. screen in the Pearl. |

Posted by Higsby How do we know that Danielle is Ben's wife. I was under the impression that Alex was taken from her (but then again, she's a little more nutso than most people on these islands so maybe she forgot that Ben was her man). Anyways, the last episode was great, reaffirming the fact that Sayid is a complete badass. And what's with Locke just playing chess while Sayid is battling with Mikhail. I mean, they weren't completely quiet and Locke shows up after the fights over. And if I were Locke I never would've hit 77, I mean, that message was obviously the "do you want to blow up this place" message. As for Jack being out of character, he was drunk (and we all know what happens when we get drunk) and he was probably going nuts over the fact that she wouldn't tell him a damn thing about her. One final note, Jesus (um, I mean Desmond) is awesome. I know his episode did absolutely nothing to really advance the story, but hell, it was damn entertaining. |
