And, if your hack is more than one word (ie has a space in the filename), it would be easier for you to rename your hack to something without any spaces.

1. Create a shortcut of rlm.exe
2. Right click with the mouse on the shortcut.
3. Click on "Properties" and you should see a field called "Target" or something.
4. You will see something like "C:\rlm.exe" at least the path to rlm.exe.
5. After this add mario.smc unlocked.smc
6. Your mario.smc HAS TO BE IN THE SAME FOLDER!
7. Run the shortcut and it will create a file called unlocked.smc.
8. Open in LM!

Pretty easy in my opinion.

You can just append .smc to the end of the filename once it makes the unlocked file. Works like a charm.

If the directory's name is longer than 8 letters or has a space in it, type in the first 6 letters (skip spaces) and then ~1 for it. For instance, C:\Super Nintendo would become C:\Supern~1.
Or use quotes:
cd "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\lol a big long directory with spaces in its name"

Last view: 2487 days 		Copy the ROM to the C drive and rename it something short like "hack.smc" so you wont have to type a long line to get where you want and risk getting lost, you'll just have to type cd C:\
